Sold with a copy of a Bisiach certificate, Milan, 1941, attributing the violin 'original in all its parts' to Andrea Guarneri, Cremona.

[I] can deduce latest rings of 1709 and 1710 for bass and treble respectively, with a certain degree of uncertainty due to the generally low correlations, apart from one for the bass, side which has a strong cross-match, equivalent to a t-value of 9.5, with a c.1725 CA Testore, with very similar ring-patterns. Unsure it is the same tree, but almost looks possible. Same source in any case.
