Peter Ratcliff undertook a dendrochronological test and came back with the following:
I have a same tree match with a labelled PA Testore 1724...
Latest ring on the bass side 1717 and latest on treble 1711.
Apart from that one, another strong cross-match, also possibly same-tree, with some Milanese violin ( different maker) and a c.1725 CA Testore, also possibly same-tree. The graphics are quite convincing for same-tree, but due to the bearclaw, it is difficult to be 100% positive.
