Hamilton Caswell Retires After 61 Years in the Violin Trade

Every bow has come straight from Bowspeed's showroom and is in good saleable condition regarding straightness, camber and hair. The photographs include Bowspeed's reference sticker on each bow giving their retail price and other useful details.

On 5th and 6th November, Amati, will offer Bowspeed's vast retirement stock.

Hamilton founded "Hamilton Violins" on the Isle of Wight in 1964, and with his wife Amelie, ran it in Cornwall from 1976 and then in Bristol from 1987 to 2004. Since then and until now they have solely made and dealt in bows under the name of Bowspeed.
